San Jose Municipal Rose Garden is maintained by volunteers year-round, averaging a total of 150 hours per week.

2. International Rose Test Gardens

 

International Rose Test Gardens was founded in 1917. It is one of the country’s most beautiful rose gardens located in Portland. The place is called the City of Roses. It is home to 7,000 rose bushes. International Rose Test Gardens is the oldest public test garden in the country. This garden offers visitors a fantastic view of the city, as well as Mount Hood. This Dr. E.M. Mills Memorial Rose Garden is over 2-acre. The rose garden was assigned in 1924, with a symmetrical design patterned after the beaux-arts style. It has more than 3,550 roses. Located near Syracuse University, the rose garden features thousands of rose bushes and climbing roses on 10-foot arches. Volunteers work at the garden on Wednesday mornings from mid-April to early November.

John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art Rose Garden is located on 20 acres of waterfront property. This garden dazzles with its traditional Italian circular garden design. The rose garden was established in 1913 in Sarasota, Florida. The garden has 1,200 roses. This garden even features an art museum, a historic mansion, and two circus museums.
