The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a form completed by current and prospective college students (undergraduate and graduate) in the United States to determine their eligibility for student financial aid. Most students who are eligible to receive federal aid and complete the FAFSA will receive some form of financial aid regardless of their financial need.

 

Eligibility

In order to receive federal student financial aid, students must meet the following criteria.

  • Be a U.S. citizen, a U.S. national, or an eligible non-citizen.
  • Have maintained Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
  • Have a valid Social Security number.
  • You should have a high school diploma or GED.

Keiser University’s financial aid offices use the FAFSA program to evaluate each student’s financial aid eligibility. According to the university’s webpage, Keiser University offers financial aid from all available federal programs including grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study programs. The university offers Federal Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant, Federal Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans, and Federal Work-Study aid. In addition to federal aid, the university offers the Florida Student Assistance Grant and Florida Resident Access Grant along with university scholarships.
