Keiser University, founded in 1977, is a regionally accredited, private, career University offering certificates, associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. It is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award certificates and degrees at the associate, baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral levels. Keiser University’s main campus is located in Fort Lauderdale with additional campuses located in Daytona Beach, Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Lakeland, Melbourne, Miami, Orlando, Pembroke Pines, Port St. Lucie, Sarasota, Tallahassee, Tampa, and West Palm Beach.

Apart from that it also has international cooperative agreements with the University systems in China and Nicaragua to serve international students. Keiser University currently serves a student population of approximately 13,000. The University’s online and international populations represent fifteen percent of the total student population. The students are focused on entering new careers or enhancing their level of skill in their present field.
